Weekend wrap-up WEC / ASTRA Japan results

This past weekend was a mixed bags for the team as we had some solid wins and disappointing losses.
WEC Reults
To start it off, Brad Pickett had an exciting unanimous decision win over Demetrious Johnson, punctuated by some great slams and top control throughout the bout.
Brad has shown great improvement during the time he has been down here training with us and look forward to big things from him.
Mike Brown unfortunately suffered a knockout loss to Manny Gamburyan.
Mikes as tough as they come and as disappointing as the loss is, Mike will re-group and move forward.
ASTRA- Japan
In Japan's newest promotion, Jorge Masvidal won by decision over Naoyuki Kotani and Micah Miller dropped a unanimous decison to Michihiro Omigawa.
Also, over the weekend in Jacksonville, Chris Thorn from ATT won by armbar over Hunter by round one.
As always we will learn from the defeats and the victories.
Congrats to the fighters for giving their all.
